  • Service Update – s34 Restored to Original Infrastructure

As part of the recovery work following the recent data centre incident, server s34 was temporarily relocated to an alternative facility to restore service as quickly as possible.

We are pleased to confirm that the server has now been successfully moved back to its original hosting environment. All services are operating normally, and no further action is required from customers.

We will continue to monitor the platform closely, but no further disruption is expected.

  • Service Update: Server Outages

We would like to provide an update regarding the service interruptions experienced yesterday.

The outages were caused by a severe weather event at one of the data centres used to host some of our services. We have since been informed that the facility sustained a direct hit from a tornado, resulting in a significant power outage and associated infrastructure issues.

While power was restored, additional systems required inspection and remediation before services could be safely returned to normal operation. This extended the recovery process beyond the initial outage period.

The data centre operator worked throughout the incident to restore affected systems, and most services returned to normal operation within a couple of hours. However, some servers were affected for longer and required additional work. We have temporarily migrated two servers to a different facility in order to restore service while work continues at the affected site.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while the situation was being resolved. We will continue to monitor services closely and will provide further updates if required.

A major power outage at one of the data centres we utilise is currently affecting some services.

The data centre operator is investigating and working to restore service, however no estimated time for resolution has been provided at this stage.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as further information becomes available.

Err: Host unreachable (timeout)

We are experiencing a hard disk issue on s34, this is being worked on and we hope to have service back to normal ASAP.

Update: The server is now back online. We unfortunately had to assign a new IP in order to avoid delays to the restoration of service. If you use the IP to connect, please login to obtain the new IP. DNS has been updated, so no further action is required for majority of customers.

One of our providers is currently experiencing a major outage which is affecting some customers. They are currently working on the issue and we hope to see service back to normal shortly.

UPATE: Services are now back online and functioning correctly. If you still have any problems with your server then contact the support desk.

The issue was caused by an error that occurred during network upgrades.
